Bug Safari!

A kid-friendly exploration of insects in the Teaching Garden at the Agricultural Center. The Teaching Garden is a certified Wildlife Habitat, certified by the National Wildlife Federation. It is a happy home for native plants, plants that grow naturally in our region, various amphibians, lizards, snakes and furry four-legged types. Breanna Walker with Union County Soil and Water Conservation and Annie Howell with the Union County Master Gardeners will present a program on entomology, the study of insects. Following that presentation, participants will explore the garden for a kid-friendly “look and find” of our insect friends.
